Earlier this month CP Rail issued letters to local residents and community gardens along the Arbutus corridor advising them that they have until July 31st to remove any items and structures deemed to be on CP land. Yesterday George met with members of the community and representatives for the Cypress and Maple community gardens. After touring the area and listening to their stories George wrote a letter to CP urging them to hold off on their July 31st deadline and to continue to work with the community and show leadership by helping to foster the area as green space.
