COVID-19 Update

Dear Friends,

As we all adjust to the new and rapidly changing COVID-19 health emergency, I want to ensure you know that I and our Vancouver-Fairview community office staff are available and eager to help with questions, problems and information. While our office is temporarily closed to the public, constituency staff continue to work remotely and can be reached Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm via phone and email.

  • If you are feeling unwell, the BC COVID-19 Symptom Self-Assessment Tool will help determine whether you may need further assessment or testing for COVID-19: https://covid19.thrive.health/
  • If you have medical related questions you can call HealthLink BC at 8-1-1 toll-free in B.C., or for the deaf and hard of hearing, call 7-1-1. Translation services are available in more than 130 languages.
  • Non-medical information about COVID-19 including the latest information on travel recommendations and social distancing. Information is available in more than 110 languages, 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Pacific Standard Time at 1-888-COVID19 (1-888-268-4319) or via text message at 604-630-0300.
